Green Beer is…not just for St. Patrick’s Day!

greenbeerIn keeping with our love of the mountains and earth, Tuckerman Brewing Co. is committed to sustainable manufacturing with help from local New England companies. In other words, thinking green and supporting New England’s economy! Currently, TBC’s six pack carriers are manufactured in Hooksett, NH; case boxes come from Maine and are made using a sustainable forestry initiative. When you take a tour of the brewery, you’ll learn that Tuckerman Brewing Co.’s primary brewing ingredient, malted barley, is made from barley grown in northern Maine and Canada and is one of only a handful of breweries in the country that use Maine grown barley! Many ask where our water comes from. Well, we use water from the Town of Conway, because it is excellent! The aquifer for the town is fed by the Swift River, which comes straight from the mountain streams of the White Mountains. Pure and crystal clear water is one of the reasons Tuckerman beers taste so good!

Tuckerman Brewing Co. will be expanding our commitment to environmental responsibility and is proud to be a “green brewery”.

So as you enjoy your next Tuckerman beer, remember…Green Beer Is Not Just For St. Patty’s Day! Cheers!
